Ranskalainen taiteilija ja remiksaaja, Joakim, keikkailee helsingissä Kuudes Linja clubilla 23.3.2007.
Joakim Bouaziz on eräs maineikkaimmista ranskalaisen elektronisen musiikin taiteilijoista. Hän aloitti kuuden vuoden ikäisenä soittamaan pianoa mm kuuluisan konserttipianistin Abdel Rahman El Bachan kanssa. Tästä edeten läpi amerikkalaisen ja englantilaisen indierockin lopulta noustaakseen ranskalaisen electronisen musiikin kärkikaartiin.
Hänen debyytti albuminsa "Tigersushi" (1999) nimen mukaan Joakim perusti samannimisen levyhtiön vuonna 2001.
Seuraava levy "Fantomes" (2003) siivitti Joakimin kansainväliseen kuuluisuuteen. Levyn raidat "Come in to my Kitchen" sekä "Are you a vegeterian?" soivat klubeilla ympäri maailman.
Joakimin Tigersushi levymerkki on julkaissut mm Panicon, Poni Hoax, Principles of Geometry, Sir Alice, Discipline bändien levyjä.
Nyt, Joakim tekee kiertueen uuden levynsä "Monsters and silly songs" kunniaksi, joka julkaistaan !K7 levymerkillä 21.2.2007.
JOAKIM LIVE tapahtuma toteutetaan yhteistyössä Ranskan kulttuurikeskuksen, Yes Please Clubin sekä ravintola Kuudes Linjan kanssa.
