STAR YOU STAR ME Star You Star Me did three deep deep disco releases that launched the Stars-music. In the future Stars-music will present also new vocal tracks from SYSM. At the present time their "Sweet Things" single on Moodmusic is gaining lots of new listeners to their music... The next SYSM releases on Stars-music will come sometime 2006!
DÉCLASSÉ
Turku has always been the focal point of Finnish electronic music and it is also the home of Déclassé, the latest signing of Stars-Music. We are proud to present their debut 12" in January 2006.
The title track "Shadows" mixes genres and eras like hell - lyrics from the 15th century lute ballads by John Dowland, drums like early The Cure or New Order and then the bass drones from the latest hi- tech hardware synths. And the remix is from Finland's uncrowned producer-king Jori Hulkkonen... with some 303 and stomp to fulfill all your needs.
Déclassé shares the same melodic approach to music that all Stars- Music artists have but in their sound those melodies are married with dark vocals and some rock elements that you certainly wouldn't expect to find in modern electronic music!
