Jussi-Pekka and Kalle M, two rising producer talents from Tampere, are for the first time heading towards Vaasa to play a live performance at Cella Nova. Their techno-sound can be described as minimal and beautiful, strongly inspired by the Scandinavian surroundings. Jussi-Pekka will also please the dancefloor with a dj-set.
Both Jussi-Pekka and Kalle have established themselves on the production field and have already acclaimed worldwide recognition. Jussi-Pekka has put out releases on numerous acknowledged record labels, as for instance Pokerflat, Dessous, Slip’n’Slide and Statra. He is also busy deejaying in Finland and in such boiling European cities as Berlin, Athens and Amsterdam. Lately, Jussi-Pekka even found the time to run his newly established Frozen North Recordings.
Speaking of which, Kalle M is one of the label’s most promising artists. His music can be described as deep and atmospheric techno, which offers listeners an electronic dive into the Finnish melancholic and romantic state of mind.
Owing to the numerous quality releases and praised live-sets by these guys, we can only expect a night to remember. This is an event you rarely see happen in Vaasa.
