Cass first made a name for himself while at the Flying Rhino label through his production work with Slide (Pete Martin). Since then he has moved on to start his own label, Fire recordings, with Pete Martin, and Lee Burridge. Cass & Slide changed the way electronic music was understood in progressive house/trance area. The duo´s biggest hit ”Perception”, set the ball rolling and follow ups ”Opera” and ”Diablo” further enhanced the reputation of Cass as a magician in the studio. Having collaborated over the years with the likes of Danny Tenaglia, Sean Cusick, Jimmy Van M, Lee Burridge, Satoshi Tomiie, Hernan Cattaneo and more, Cass is regarded as highly for his production skills as those he displays behind the decks.
Fire quickly became recognised as a great source of quality underground sounds. Cass then left the Fire station in the summer of 2002 to establish his new label, Sabotage Systems. Cass started Sabotage with his single ”Mind Rewind” being the first release at the end of Jan 2003. His full solo album is due to be out in early 2004.
